As a General Partner in the fund, Brian brings nearly two decades of direct investment, advisory, due diligence, strategy and business development experience as well as deep healthcare system expertise.

Brian currently serves as Managing Director, North Star in addition to Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for the Managed Care Department at Northwell Health, New York’s largest integrated health system. Brian leads clinical program due diligence and commercialization initiatives in addition to value-based payment and alternative payment model contracting. Prior to joining Northwell Health, Brian spent twelve years as an investor in the alternative asset management industry and most recently was a Principal & Director of Research for Arrow Capital Management. Brian began his career as an Analyst in the Global Leveraged Finance Department within the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch & Co.

Brian currently serves as a Member of the Board of the Advisors for Axiom Rehabilitation, a Florida-based provider of outpatient, physical therapy services in the home and home health staffing, primarily for patients with lymphedema. He also serves as a Strategic Advisor to Hyro, an artificial intelligence (AI) company with a mission to simplify digital interactions by enabling organizations to deploy conversational AI interfaces at scale.

Brian graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management and is a CFA charterholder.
